Qantas ADOPTS ‘SNEAKERHEAD’ APPROACH TO NEW 787 DREAMLINER DELIVERY
You wouldn’t catch Qantas CEO Alan Joyce in a pair of gaudy high tops. Qantas, however, has taken delivery of its latest 787 Dreamliner in true ‘sneakerhead’ style – by putting it straight into storage. Qantas received the spanking new Boeing 787-9 in Victorville, California, on November the 13th, the delivery bringing its Dreamliner fleet up to 12. Makes sense - better to keep in in that condition then do all the initial setup and put it into mothballs. Keep it ready for end of covid and do all line prep and get it into the he sked one time.
