American suspends 737-800 retrofit program known as "Project Oasis"

American Airlines suspended plans to add more seats to its classic Boeing 737s as the airline suffers from a lengthy debate over labor. This summer, American had to delete thousands of flights owing to the worldwide Boeing 737 MAX groundings after two deadly crashes.
