The Boeing 737 MAX 8's have a system in them that keeps them level and it malfunctions driving the plane to dive because the Boeing tried to copy Airbus design on their A320neo but it didn't work because Airbus makes their planes higher off the ground than Boeing so when Boeing put on the bigger engines the plane pulled upwards so they put in the system to keep the plane level.
