Abu Dhabi-based carrier, Etihad Airways (EY), has announced plans to lay off 50 pilots and the cancelation of its Airbus A320neo order in a major restructuring move. Etihad Airways ordered 36 new single-aisle, re-engined Airbus planes in November 2013, comprising 10 A320neos and 26 A321neos.
