Yippee! A whole cm more for 2/3 of the seats. That's less than 0.40 inch for those who prefer the old units. I suppose that's supposed to make up for the woeful 76 cm/30" pitch between rows in most of the cabin. Apparently Air New Zealand thinks everyone has transformed into hobbits. But try squeezing into these seats for up to 4.5 hours and you'll feel more like an orc. While their long-haul service is great, ANZ really has dropped the ball with its shorter flights.
