American Airlines to launch Boeing 777-300ER flights from LAX to Sydney today

\GIVE ME THREE INCHES MORE ...All this talk about new airlines services and seats seems to ignore the fact that airline travel is now getting close to a form of torture. Maybe one day we will see criminals sentenced to a flight to Dallas form Sydney??? in economy of course. If only they could hive economy 3 inches more leg room.. it would make an enormous difference to comfort. Trouble is the airlines all use the obvious lack of room in economy as a way to make more money by selling Premium or Business class seats. I'd be happy to pay an extra $200 to LAX from SYD but the price of Premium Economy is a total rip off.

I have often wondered what the travelling publics response would be if Qantas increased the seat pitch in economy to say 34 inches??? Maybe they are already getting high levels of passengers and don't need any more customers . Is there any real competition on that Pacific run to LAX??

American and Qantas are expanding their partnership, strengthening the 25 year relationship between the two airlines.

The "new" American Airlines seems to really be delivering on what it promised. New routes, new airplanes, etc. Keep it up AA!
