This new cool 3D visualization shows all the airplanes that go through the five major air spaces over the North Atlantic during a 24 hour period. It's like watching a modern version of the thermonuclear war simulations in War Games—without all the final explosions. (vimeo.com) 更多...
Makes you appreciate computers and the technicians that maintain the equipment controllers are becoming more irrelevant and the automation and the technicians are becoming more important
For all that traffic....it's amazing how alone you feel out there when you are flying the tracks. You may see one or two ahead of you, certainly here one another on 123.45 but certainly don't think there are hundreds out there. Cool video
Thanks for sharing, that is cool. Here is a video of air traffic over Europe, crazy to see how busy the airspace gets. Enjoy! http://digg.com/video/watch-all-the-air-travel-in-europe-with-this-beautiful-video
Very interesting. At around 1:30 you can see the Newark-bound flights making the right turn over HANAA to go direct ALB, which is in the airspace I watch via virtual radar.
What an impressive video! It surely gives a greater appreciation for air traffic control, and for all the planning and coordination that is done to keep all that air traffic moving with so few problems.
Hi everyone. And as each of you write in English, i'll do it in French. C'est une suprbe video qui montre a quel point nous devons notre sécurité aux contrôleurs. Bravo messieurs. Now, the game. Try to translate that perfectly and y'll get my congratulations. Have a nice Sunday flying up to the Europe.
Rough Translation: It is a superb video which shows the point we owe our security to controllers. Bravo Gentlemen. Instead of the congratulation.....how about x 6 pack?
