You know, it's funny. I think every single approach / tactic / strategy / gimmick in world has been tried by the airlines throughout history. But they just keep trying like it's the first time it's ever been considered. The ingredients of the secret sauce is not that difficult. Safe and dependable flights, competent and friendly (or at least not mean) staff and reasonable prices. If you through in a free ticket every now and then, people appreciate it.
Looks like they have learned their lesson! It's impossible to be profitable when over 95% of your customer base are "The People of Wal-Mart"!
For sure, I have flown spirit once, it was worse than the old "People's Express" if anyone still remembers them! People of Walmart sums up the clientele pretty well.
