IMHO this may not even see the light of day. Major change in business model before it even gets off the ground is a troubling sign (IMHO) with now YVR being their new home base when their model is/was to use Abbottsford or Hamilton as main base. I smell desperation and typical pre-launch hype. Also in the race to the bottom they will fight it out against swoop, flair (holding my breath although they had a fair lineup at yyz this morning)
@Iain R, , , , as for elaboration there is a neat tool called the INTERNET. And there is a program on the INTERNET called Wikipedia. Give it a try sometime, I hear that it a good place to start YOUR research! Jeez man.
When I see "ultra low cost" as the most important part of a website for an airline, I think of Nationair and Jetsgo and wonder how cheap you can go.

Think RyanAir / easyJet where everything is an extra charge including water. Apparently, RyanAir and some other ULCCs have championed the feasibility of having "vertical seating" (ie: standing passengers) for flights. There's your first mistake. YVR?? NOT a business friendly airport in a high tax province.
Indeed. You have to staff an airline and the staff would have to live in YVR and environs. Not, and far from it, the type of city you can attract employees at the lower wages a start-up requires. Hamilton, which was their initial base which a different story. Just does not smell right.
Basically an article describing Vancouver International Airport, with only a vague description of the airline's routes. Probably just another economy-class tourist airline to Veradero and Cancun. If not, please elaborate.
