if paintjobs are intended in some small way to make aircraft visible to other aircraft in the vicinity, well, these schemes top the cake. Braniff had those full aircraft painted colors- orange, green, yellow, and others, so this is unusual and useful and discomforting to some too. In the end, as passengers it matters not a bit, so sit and enjoy your flight

I like it. It reminds me of Dazzle Camouflage from WWI/WWII. Ships were painted with abstract stripes and patterns to obscure their distance and orientation.

My first reaction was to check the date and see if this was an April 1st story. Ugliest livery scheme I have ever seen...makes you wonder what choices were rejected as being too gaudy?

are we to assume that by calling the new striped fleet of COndor grossly painted, that you would not consent to fly on a condor flight, even though many hundreds of thousands of Germans and others happily fly happily on flights every year to the carribean and other fabulous vacation spots? COndor has a safety record of safe flights offering package vacation trips , and besides the committee for painting redesign has now shown an example a slight German sense of humor.

Wonder how much all the extra taping costs to keep the colors apart? Overspray would be a "*itch" to correct. As long as they don't pass that cost along in the form of higher ticket prices, I can live with the colors.

As if passengers don't already feel like prisoners between intake (security checkpoints) holding cells (departure gates) and then locked into their cell(plane) with no escape while ATC and weather delay their departure.I can only imagine what the meal service will be like..

I'd imagine there will be an interest shown by various football club supporter groups in certain colours. Green/white and blue/white being favourites, I'd think.
Condor could have a nice little earner by flying from Glasgow.
