A Virgin Atlantic flight makes an emergency landing in Boston after a cabin fire

(CNN)A Virgin Atlantic flight headed to London from New York City was diverted to Boston after a small fire broke out in the first class cabin Thursday night, a passenger said. The flight's 217 passengers were safely evacuated after the emergency landing, the Massachusetts State Police said. The fire was from a battery pack that was stuck in the seat probably from an earlier flight.

"smoke was from a TV unit"..."There was no big commotion."
Commotion=a state of confused and noisy disturbance.
We might have more commotion here in this forum :-)

:) I think there were conflicting reports of the source of the fire.. I only read the article posted here, but after reading the Guardian article (and other sources), it refers to charging devices

Charging devices is something that is needs to be stopped.

Please just read the article in the Guardian for which the OP provided a link. It quotes the Massachusetts state police.
