We've only known all this for 10+ years.

thanks for the video. Last week , the TSA asked the pilot to remove his hat before going thru the scanner , but behind him were two airport employees , one sikh with a turban and one muslim lady with a scarf on her head. guess what , they didnt't ask them to remove their costumes.

You are correct. TSA only reacts to threats after they are discovered. I read somewhere that one of the movie theaters chains is starting to search bags before letting you into the movie. Next will be X-ray machines and detectors at malls.

I enjoyed the video, thank you, I see this entertainment everyday at the airport. I myself had a plastic knife taken from me when the TSA did a back pack search. I offered to get them several more knifes from the local coffee shop on the "secured" side of the airport. I don't understand why the TSA gave me a dirty look.

This guy's got a funny show. Unfortunately, those who really need watch it probably don't. He has a great delivery, too.

It's very important that we have a Federal agency to close the barn doors after the birds have flown the coop. I mean, who is going to turn out the lights for us after the refrigerator door closes, eh?

Thanks, I enjoyed that.

Not taking sides let alone debating the lack of efficiency but the record does tend to support the lack of a plane used as a weapon in a domestic attack. Can TSA take the credit? Not sure but the obvious absence of tragedy cannot be denied.

There is one reason we haven't seen airliners used as a weapon since 9-11--the secure cockpit doors that were installed immediately after 9-11. Pilots had been clamoring for secure cockpit doors since hijacking incidents in the 1970s, but the airlines refused to pay.
