United Airlines skipped an important detail on a recent flight, and it wasn't ensuring tray tables were in the upright and locked position. Before embarking on a 10-hour international trip from San Francisco to London, the crew for United Flight 931 failed to stock the plane with toilet paper, forcing flight attendants--and passengers--to improvise. Perhaps there is a new ancillary charge in United's future. Now they can charge $2 for TP use for a 1 or $4 for a 2 or buy both for $3.50 and save 50 cents!
On a couple of ocassions once inside those tight closets that pass for WC at MIA and ORD I had to use a couple of pages from the yellow legal pag..... It hurt alright but it was a hell of a lot better than having nothing to use. From them I always carry some TP or baby´s Pampers in my briefcase and believe me it helps.
United is such a ghetto airline....btw, they also do not check the oil before they fly as well....They are broke..don't fly on them. I am sure they are not maintaining their fleet to stds.
It's that stupid smokescreen the STEWARDESS UNION threw out there in the 90's. "We're here to protect you and we're highly trained...blah, blah. We're not here to serve drinks. Therefore we prefer to be called flight attendants." Go back to the days when they did their jobs with their pretty, smiley faces and the customer service fixes itself.
