Airlines impose cannabis ban on pilots and cabin crew

In an advisory to the aviation community, Transport Canada officials warn that cannabis is a “potential threat” to safety.

OTTAWA—Don’t even think about flying high.

That’s the rule Canada’s airlines have laid down for pilots, mechanics and other front-line personnel in advance of Wednesday’s legalization of recreational marijuana use.
