Awesomely distinct. Did they work in any other theatre other than Pacific in WW2?

John mcGeoghan - Yes... The Royal Navy operated Corsairs in the European Theatre of WWII. These a/c of the Fleet Air Arm flew from no less than the HMS Illustrious, HMS Victorious, and the HMS Invincible.
