AFR41037 — - TAN SON NHUT AIR BASE, SAIGON, VIETNAM APRIL 1966 ATTACK ON THE base and the RF-4C SQUADRON.  ATTACK WAS AT NIGHT and this photo was late the next afternoon and there was something still burning (Not an RF4C).  Those doors open were the photo flash ejection system for night photography which ejected cartridges to light up the night.  The spots on 037 were shrapnel damage from mortars.
