de Havilland Dash 8-400 (N403QX) - N403QX, the Montana State "Bobcats" special livery on final to runway 20R from Reno. They stayed a bit higher than normal on approach which made for a great shot with no buildings in the background. A lot of times the buildings make a nice backdrop, but since it has been so hot lately they are usually distorted and covered with a thin layer of heat haze resulting in a less than optimal background.

N403QX was the first Horizon aircraft to ever fly to SNA when service started a few months ago and I was unable to get out to the airport then to photograph it, but I was able to catch it this past weekend and it is the first time I have seen any Horizon a/c in special paint at SNA.
