American's TWA heritage schemebird was the last of the three new heritage livery aircraft to visit Reno. Last weekend's arrival here by N915NN means that all of the new heritage paints have now been to Reno at least once. All of them have arrived in the evening and departed again before sunrise, so thus far the only pics I've been able to get of them are night shots, and I'm looking forward to capturing all of them again in daylight.

Thanks for the compliment and the vote, my friend.
I had to get up awful early to catch this one. It was going to be leaving early (6:40 AM) so I got up just before 4 AM and got to the airport at 5:30 to snap it. But it was well worth it: this was the last of the three I needed to snap in order to have all three new ones.
How have you been? I'll be going thru your folder to catch up and see all your newest posts. (Thumbs Up)

I, too, think it is a great tribute to TWA. My personal favorite TWA livery was the double globe scheme, but I'm plenty OK with seeing this scheme back in the skies again.
Now, if only American could somehow find a way to buy the logo / livery rights to the old Mohawk paint ......
(but as is already well known, Mohawk's paint will never be seen again).

I'm not yet able to move very quickly (and the stamina level still seems to be a mite low), but I HAVE been able to get out to catch this one very early Sunday AM, the AirLand Scorpion (N531TA) last week, and a couple great military charterbirds earlier today. (I'll get a shot of that Scorpion posted soon.)
