This i9s one of two KDC-10 aerial (air-to-air) refueling tankers owned by the Royal Netherlands Air Force. They were modified from ex-Martinair DC-10-30CF Convertible Freighters. The design was done by Douglas Aircraft in Long Beach California, and the modifications were performed at the KLM Schiphol facility, with oversight by a team of Douglas Aircraft on site representatives. The first deliver to the RNLAF was in late 1994 and the second delivery was in January 1995. They operate out of Eindhove AF Base. The design was based on the successful USAF KC-10 tankers developed by Douglas for the USAF and first delivered in 1981. Both the KDC-10s and the KC-10s are still in very active service today.

On a grass runway, who would've guessed!? Nose cone from different plane? (Paint lines don't match?)
