Cheers Ian...those Convairs would have been ASA-Airlines of South Australia. I think that they were mainly flown between ADL and Port Lincoln and also across to Kangaroo Island. Also north to the steel town of Whyalla out of Adelaide. The turboprop Brittania of British Eagle would have been on an inbound charter from the UK. She was designed to do trans Atlantic, so certainly had plenty of range available at 300 knots plus...
