The photo location is at GNF... the Grenada Municipal Airport. Not just the name on the hangar, but the elevation at OSX, Kosciusko-Attala County Airport, is 494 ft! :-)

The Grenada Municipal Airport, GNF, first opened in 1944 and was known as Grenada Army Airfield during WWII. The installation was also used as a POW camp in the latter days of the war. According to Wiki, the 63rd and the 10th Troop Carrier Groups used this airport for training with 50 C-47 aircraft and 25 CG-4A gliders.

After the war in Europe ended, the Air Technical Service Command used the airport for surplus aircraft storage and for transshipment of military air freight. The facility was turned over to civilian control and use in 1953. Today, Grenada Municipal Airport, GNF, sees joint use by military and civilian general aviation traffic.

A better view of that old hangar can be seen in this photo as recently uploaded to FA by Robert Montague...
