My first flight was on a DC-3 from Seattle to Spokane. I recall a few pukers (including my brother) going over the Cascades. My second flight was on a Connie out of Sand Point Naval Air Station.

a real work horse. C-47 or DC3 never crash.

Ammm not so sure about that, Peter, I believe there wre a few pilot error crashes in its lifetime. Not many though.
