Beautiful restoration...nice shot. My father flew one of these as a "Typhoon Chaser" out of Guam in the early '50s.

@Serge Loth: There are two flying. DOC is one and FIFI is the other.

It's still amazing to me that people practically lived in those planes, flying for major parts of a day to do their job. Amazing... The patriotism of those crews is beyond question. When I see the tail gunner position, I just can't even believe that people flew in there for hours. Salute!!!
