NZWU is about 180NM due south of NZAA Auckland (about 45mins actual flying, or even less in the CV580). A beautiful sharp shot! No tail stand required evidently, unlike many other turboprops whilst they are loading Pax.
The cruise True Airspeed TAS in the CV580 with the Allison engines (only slightly less rated SHP than those in a C130 Hercules) is around 275 knots.
