McDonnell Douglas DC-10 (N164AA)
KSJC - early 1990s of an American Airlines DC-10-30 getting set to depart to Tokyo-Narita. This was way before the Boeing 777 arrived and replaced the MD-11s!. Photo from atop the parking garage.

Thats a great picture !!!
Wow!
Love it.....Puts the new AA Paintjob to shame!
Although I like the new livery, this is what I call American's "REAL" livery!
Still, classy looking as ever!
Me and my men designed the shell structure of the fuselage E barrel, except for the frames and the keel section.
Great photo! Thanks for the memories. This is still one my me favorite commercial aircraft.
I FLEW THIS PLANE FROM DFW TO LGW ON FEBRUARY 1992.
Love this photo! The DC-10 the perfect mix of old school and modern! Wish it was more common these days, I never got the chance to fly on one. Nice catch
I appreciate all of the comments.
Nice shot!
