Bell V-22 Osprey (16-8015)

Can anybody help me finding the Registration/tail # of this Osprey helicopter?

168015. All USMC a/c regs begin with "1 6". So do all USN a/c regs.

Your comment that all USMC/USN aircraft begin with "16" needs some correction. First of all the Navy references their a/c as "BuNos, not regs. The 16 series BuNos started in the '80s. So going back to BuNo 000001 to your Osprey 168015 I think you can see that not all USN/USMC aircraft begin with "16"

Bartolomeo ... In the last three decades (30+ years), .... All USMC a/c regs begin with "1 6". So do all USN a/c regs.
So if you come across any Ospreys that are over 30 years old, then the number might not begin with "1 6."

Gary, point taken. I hope you can see that by your omission of the word "Osprey" when describing all USMC/Navy a/c beginning with "16" there might be some confusion and contradictory comments. Not all of the readers on this forum are as knowledgeable as you regarding military a/c. I appreciate your response, and hope you understand mine.
