This is the Original Tanker 910, N450AX, DC 10-10, CalFire contracted, first Air Tanker for 10 Tanker Air Carriers fleet,
later replaced with Tanker 910, N612AX, DC 10-30.

Excellent photo !
I hope a few more of the recently retired aircraft are converted into tankers like this one. Wild fires will always be an issue and having heavy-duty tankers in the arsenal would be a good thing. And given the number of newly retired aircraft, acquisition costs should be quite favorable.
