Wow! I really like this shot. There are so many great elements-people with cameras, sand being kicked up, the shadow on people, everybody focused on the plane, and of course, the plane.
No matter how many times I see photos of airplanes over this beach at St. Maarten - they are always amazing, and this one is truly awesome of 'Betty's Dream'.
1945 NORTH AMERICAN B-25J owned by BETTYS DREAM LLC) Her registration was changed to the current N5672V in September of 1994. From 1994 to 1999, she underwent restoration work. Her first flight after restoration was in March of 1999. Since restoration, she has flown as "Betty's Dream". She is now owned by the Texas Flying Legends Museum.
SUPER THANK YOU! to everyone who help keep these Ol birds flying.
Given the location of where this photo was taken, I didn't think the B-25 had the fuel range to be able to be ferried down to St. Maarten. Extra fuel on board? What am I missing?
