I think it's great the way he composed it. If it had been done in the typical fashion, it would be just another typical photo like everyone sees and expects. By taking the pic the way he did, much interest is added and we actually have to think... to use our intellect a bit to construct the missing part of the image according to what we assume is a symmetrically shaped nose cone.

I guess it comes down to purpose. Not the best for an advertisement perhaps, but as art I like it a lot. Very well done.
