Interesting B & W composition!

HeHe Lucius Gravely, we don't get too many large jets here. This was a charter. We got three different 747-400 QANTAS charters in for a joint military exercise this year. Sometimes I can get photos here with horses or cattle in the foreground. My usual diet of aircraft here is Dash 8's, F100's and occasional B738.

Of course QANTAS which stands for Queensland and Northern Territory Air Services was founded in a fly-speck called Longreach west of here. You'll see it still proudly displays Longreach on these Jumbos.

Still going strong. I flew on one of these from Heathrow to Melbourne,via Singapore, in February 1994, seems like a lifetime ago.
