Beautiful paint job, looks new. Same model I soloed in back in 1978, they were great to spin when bored, specially with power added at the break.

@Phil Caron LOL, yes, I got my PPL at Clark AB in 1986 (I think) flying 4 different C-150s. Luckily I had spin training because one day I went out to the practice area to do "stalls and falls" and during a power-on stall I inadvertently got into a spin, and of course the first thing I did was panic and waggle the ailerons, but I had plenty of altitude and got my brain to sync up and recovered correctly. I'll never forget that. But it made me hate Cessnas forever, I went to low wing Pipers...

Spectacular! It's so great to see a 1970s C-150 look like it just rolled off the factory floor in Wichita. Usually whenever you see a C-150, they're looking long in the tooth and very tired. Such a workhorse of an airplane and this beauty just makes me smile.

The 150 I soloed in 1964 had no rear window and no swept tail. My Achilles heel was Carburetor HEAT, DAMN IT! I can still hear my instructor! The day I soloed? I did everything Wrong! After 30 minutes flying, my instructor said, "Take it BACK TO THE AIRPORT! There was a storm coming in from the Everglades. I landed, my instructor said, park near the office! He said, Don't shut it off! "Take it around 5 or6 times AND DAMN IT, DO IT RIGHT!....Greased it on 5 ttimes, beat the storm and LOST MY SHIRT TAIL! Lantana Airport, Palm Beach county, April, 1964

Beautiful photo.

Soloed in a C150 back in 1963.

Retired from the 747 in 2007.

Obviously I had a great start and finish!
