Plan and get your slot now, as 15 airports (San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, Hayward, Livermore, Santa Rosa, Concord, Napa, Moffett, Monterey, Salinas, Watsonville, San Carlos, Reid-Hillview, and Hollister) have their requirements for arrival and departure reservations available. How are you supposed to use SJC if there will be a TFR?
file a reservation and, meet the terms of the TFR, and file in when appropriate. Otherwise, MUQ would be the better option. Commercial airlines are able to fly in under the TFR. But you need to look at the NOTAMS for the TFR to know what you need to do.
