Man suing Southwest Airlines after carry on bag fell on him
A man is suing Southwest airlines for a carry bag falling on him. Pretty ridiculous right?! I guess he didnt listen to the FA announcements, and thought he was superman (fox8.com) 更多...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
This actually makes a little sense. Airlines need to stop people from carrying on steamer trunks just so they don't have to handle them. SWA is no worse than others but the load/unload dance is ridiculous.
I am sensitive to what happened to the seated pax. I have the highest level of elite status on multiple airlines. As a result, I am inevitably one of the first on board, so I get my bag in the overhead. When I fly coach, the issue of a falling bag due to a later-boarding pax is one that is of great concern to me. The fault lies with both the pax trying to put the bag into the crowded overhead and the FA who did not intervene properly. There is no reason for a seated pax to have to worry about an event like this, but it does happen. The point is, it did not have to happen if the FA intervened as they should have.
PDX to Vegas, that pretty much sums it up...
So, some lawyers chase airplanes instead of ambulances....

It tells in the article.
Yes I see that but who is really to blame for this?. Maybe the passenger got up to take some thing out and din't secure it properly thinking the flight attendant will take care of it. I could be guessing that's my own opinion of the article.
