I would be remiss if I didn't leave a great review for Signature Flight Support MMU. We are frequent visitors to MMU and this FBO has become home away from home. You truly sense that every level of staff from the top down is relentlessly intent on making your visit pleasant and if need be, quick. The line service is safety conscious and courteous; the customer service reps are enthusiastic, and the various managers take a cheerful and visible role to ensure a great visit. Late model crew cars are usually available; but if not a shuttle is always available to take you for food, etc. If you have more downtime, Morristown offers plenty of options for dining and recreation. In fact, Morristown played a key role in the American Revolution. Washington and the Continental Army was encamped in Jockey Hollow during the "hard winter" of 1779. The Ford Mansion which served as Washington's HQ, is a museum. The downtown area nice to walk with lots of shops and impressive municipal architecture. For quick hikes check out the Patriots Path in the Morristown National Historic Park. The are lots of other diversions within a 20 minute drive from the airport. And of course, one can make it to the Manhattan side of the Lincoln Tunnel in about 40 minutes (off peak traffic). To summarize, MMU is a very viable and pleasant option to consider when in the NYC area; Signature MMU makes the case very compelling!
