I'm guessing that this, being Lufthansa, is a Fokker F-27 Friendship and not a Fairchild-Hiller. Am I right? Lovely airplane. Used to ride in these as a child and always chose a window seat under the wing so I could watch the gear going up and down and being 6feet away from watching the tires smoke on contact with the tarmac was always a thrill!
